Joshua Zirkzee

Zirkzee and Rutter can help create the attack as well as finish it. Their control and creative involvement make the forward a player to combine through, with the next pass or carry bringing teammates into the move.

Kanu’s Arsenal 1999–2002 phase offers a reference for Zirkzee’s creative link play. Kanu’s pass to release Parlour against Newcastle illustrates a forward receiving centrally and helping a teammate run through to goal.
