A commanding Colombian centre-back with excellent physical presence and the speed to recover when caught out; his distribution is composed and multi-directional, and he rarely panics in possession. He can be vulnerable to exceptionally clever movement or feints from elite strikers who change pace sharply, and his positioning occasionally drifts when deep blocks become static. A very good defender at the right level.
