John Obi Mikel — Chelsea 2007-2012
Chelsea
Open profile: John Obi MikelLavia recalls the holding-midfield version of John Obi Mikel at Chelsea in 2007–12 through composure on the ball and work in front of the defensive line.
Mikel’s larger frame and relatively restrained circulation qualify the match. Lavia’s carrying should not be presented as an identical feature of Mikel’s phase.
A style reference for this phase, not a prediction of Romeo Lavia’s ceiling.
