A left-sided defender operating in the Portuguese second tier, Sánchez has the physical tools and positioning sense to function at this level — he reads the game reasonably well and isn't afraid to step into midfield to break up play. The problem is his technical execution under pressure; he'll lose the ball on progressive carries when pressed, and his distribution is functional rather than inventive, which limits Estoril's ability to build from deep. At 26, with no meaningful top-flight experience, he's a decent squad option for a mid-table team but not someone who'll anchor a defense at a higher level.
