Box-to-box midfielder at 28 whose athleticism and technical security make him a genuine fulcrum in transition — he carries the ball forward with intent, presses with conviction, and has the engine to cover 60 metres of ground in a sequence. Limitations exist in the final third and against elite pressing teams where his touch occasionally abandons him under extreme tempo. A very good all-rounder, not transcendent.
