A wide forward who still carries genuine threat in transition despite his age, with the sort of explosive first step and directness that keeps defenders honest. He's at his best attacking space on the shoulder in half-spaces, where he can use his low centre of gravity to manipulate defenders and either cut inside or whip a dangerous cross—his delivery remains a genuine asset. The problem is his consistency has become fragile; he can disappear for long stretches in a game, and he'll never have the pressing intensity or defensive transition work you'd want from a modern fullback-area winger at a genuinely ambitious club. For Genk, he's a perfectly respectable depth option or a starter in a team that doesn't demand defensive rigour, but he's not moving the needle at the elite level anymore.
