Carry the ball through tight gaps between lines
Why the comparison works
Eze joined Arsenal after a 2024-25 season with 138 attempted dribbles, more than any Arsenal player managed that season, and is valued for weaving carries through the lines. Musiala does similar work for Bayern, turning on the half-turn and dribbling past pressure between the lines. Both are at their most dangerous carrying the ball through pressure into attacking areas.
Shared qualities
- Dribbling through the lines
- Carrying in tight spaces
Where it breaks down
Musiala's dribbling is built on close control and press resistance in congested midfield, while Eze is more of a transition carrier and high-volume shooter.
