Liverpool
Open profile: Javier MascheranoMascherano’s Liverpool 2007–10 phase gives a historical reference for Adams’s pursuit and tackling. The common thread is a midfielder who moves to confront danger and contests the ball with energy, helping stop an attack before it reaches the back line.
Unknown — a main difference has not been established yet.
