Why is Mikkel Damsgaard similar to Tomáš Rosický (Tomáš Rosický — Borussia Dortmund 2001-2006)?

Why the comparison works

Threading a pass through to the forward

Rosický’s Dortmund 2001–06 phase offers a reference for Damsgaard’s ability to turn possession into a chance with a pass through the defence. Rosický finding Koller against Arsenal in October 2002 and Damsgaard releasing Wissa against Leicester show the same direct connection with a forward’s run.
