Always in the thick of it, winning duels and pressing hard. He's a pure ball-winner, aggressive in the tackle, good at blocking passing lanes and disrupting opposition build-up. He covers ground and presses relentlessly for ninety minutes. The issue is what he does with the ball once he has it – his range of passing and shooting is very limited, he's not going to unlock defences.
