Every player is assessed across four dimensions. No single number can capture a footballer — a technically brilliant player who doesn't fit your system, can't handle pressure, or is unaffordable is useless to you. The four pillars give you the full picture.
Skill quality across 13 attribute models — dribbling, passing, shooting, defending, and more. Each attribute is graded on a 1-20 scale using statistical data and scout assessment.
How well a player fits 42 tactical roles across 28 playing systems. A Regista might score 90 for a possession-based 4-3-3 but 60 for a direct 4-4-2. Role-fit scoring answers: where does this player actually belong?
Personality profiling across four dimensions — game reading, motivation, social orientation, and pressure response. Produces one of 16 personality types (e.g., The General, The Maestro, The Catalyst) that predict how a player will behave, lead, and respond to pressure.
Fitness, pace, durability, contract status, and market valuation. The practical dimension — not just can they play, but can you sign them, and will they stay fit?
Every player is profiled across four psychological dimensions, each on a 0-100 scale with a threshold at 50:
Does the player read patterns or react on impulse?
Fuelled by the crowd and occasion, or by internal standards?
Self-focused operator, or vocal organiser of others?
Thrives on confrontation, or stays ice-cold under pressure?
The combination produces a 4-letter code (e.g., ANLC) mapped to one of 16 personality types — The General, The Maestro, The Catalyst, The Captain, and more. Each type predicts how a player will behave in high-pressure situations, whether they'll lead or follow, and what kind of dressing room presence they'll be.
Chief Scout combines data from multiple public and licensed sources. No single source is trusted blindly — scores are cross-referenced, and scout assessment always takes precedence over raw statistics.
Match stats, league standings, and fixture data across 59 leagues worldwide.
Event-level match data for advanced metrics — expected goals, progressive actions, and pressure events.
Biographical data — date of birth, nationality, height, and career milestones for identity verification.
Market valuations and transfer history used as one input to our independent CS Value model.
Attribute grades (1-20) combine statistical data from multiple sources with a compression formula that prevents any single source from dominating. Only scout-assessed grades can reach the 16-20 range — statistics alone cap at 15.
Role-fit scores weight a player's attributes against the demands of each tactical role. A player might be an excellent Controller (deep-lying playmaker) but a poor Trequartista (creative #10) based on the same underlying attributes weighted differently.
CS Value is our independent valuation model blending role-fit scores, comparable transfer fees, age, contract status, and market scarcity. It is not a prediction of transfer fee — it's an assessment of what a player is worth to a buying club.
